Ron Jules

Ron “Future” Jules is a hip-hop dance artist, choreographer, and educator based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida and raised largely in New Jersey, Ron discovered his love of movement early — first through track and field, then through dance — eventually pursuing both throughout his career. He honed his craft at Pennsylvania State University, where he ran track as a hurdler and co-founded R.A.M. Squad, Penn State’s hip-hop dance club. After graduating in 2008, he spent years teaching hip-hop for Penn State, Woodward Camp, and multiple colleges across Colorado, including Colorado College, UCCS, and Pikes Peak Community College. He has also taught at several dance studios in Colorado Springs. Over more than 20 years in the culture, Ron has built fluency across hip-hop, house, popping, locking, breaking, krumping, and capoeira. He’s trained and performed alongside respected names in the scene, taken master workshops nationwide, and counts Mr. Wiggles, the Electric Boogaloos, The Lockers, Tight Eyez, and Elite Force among his influences. He was also a member of the Rennie Harris Grassroots Hip-Hop Theatre company.
