Kiera began dancing at the age of 3 where it quickly became her first love. She grew up in Perth, Australia where she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Latin and Ballroom. Kiera’s skills were honed at the West Australian School of Ballet as well as under award-winning choreographers and teachers John Cleary and Gail Meade. Just as much as she loved dancing, Kiera loved competing. Competitive dance took Kiera all over the state and country. She was a part of the national award-winning Tap Troup, placing first overall and claiming the highest overall score at the Australian Dancing Nationals.
Kiera’s love of teaching and children brought her to the United States where she worked as a camp counselor, teaching children how to play guitar and dance in northern Wisconsin. She has since fallen in love with the country and decided to move here permanently after completing her MA in Journalism from DePaul University.
