Victoria Bond

Victoria Bond acquired a Dance Performance & Choreography B.F.A. and an English B.A. with a concentration in creative writing. In school, she was awarded a Fellows scholarship which resulted in a final research and performance project that revolved around engaging the performer through schematic images, metaphors, and liminality. At Elon she danced and choreographed for Dancing in the Landscape 2015, Fall Dance Concert 2015, 2016, and 2017, Black History Month 2017 and 2018, Red Circle 2016, 2017, and 2018, as well as Dance Works 2016 and 2018. After her graduation in 2019, Bond performed with Valletto dance company in their summer performance project. She has choreographed and performed in several music videos under the videography of Ben Lieberman. Furthermore, Bond will premier her New Jersey based contemporary dance company, RISTIQUE, in the Lampshade Session series in the fall of 2020.  When it comes to her style, Bond states that she craves movement and dancers that expose their emotional vulnerability and fearless physicality and fluidness. Bond's movement has also been quoted as being very ‘emotionally involved and quite physical.'
