Katie has been dancing and performing since the age of four. Having studied ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical, she has competed in dance competitions in both middle and high school and performed at the half-time show for the national collegiate football championship. After high school she went on to study and graduate with a degree in Communications from Otterbein University. While at Otterbein, Katie was a four-year member of the O-squad dance team, captain her senior year and served in a volunteer coach role after graduation. Katie performed in many theatrical shows including Little Shop of Horrors, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Damn Yankees and a member of Vaud-Villities to name just a few. She has a passion for dance and theatre and has been able to assist with her stepson’s school musicals. She has judged both nationally and internationally for the past 10 years and currently lives and works in the Columbus area. She is very excited to bring her knowledge of dance to the BBDC family!
