This is Miss Carsyn’s 20th year of dance, her 6th year teaching and choreographing, and was an assistant for many years before that. Miss Carsyn is certified in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Acrobatics through the Southern Association of Dance Masters. Miss Carsyn was a successful competition dancer with DSUP, a member of the Twin City Ballet performing company and now choreographs award winning dances for the DSUP competition team! Miss Carsyn’s favorite part about teaching is “seeing dance become somebody’s favorite part of their day! Outside of DSUP, Miss Carsyn has been a Jr. High and Highschool Mathematics teacher and both past and current Cheer Coach at Union Christian Academy. She is a graduate from ULM with a degree in mathematics! Miss Carsyn was also on the ULM Hawkline for two years, winning a National Championship in 2022! In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends, family, and her cats!
